Delete Your Account and Data
At HomeTrail, we prioritize your privacy and data security. If you wish to delete your
account and associated data, please follow the steps below:
For Mobile App Users:
- Open the HomeTrail App: Launch the HomeTrail app on your device.
- Navigate to the Trailhead Page: Tap on the "Trailhead" page from
the main menu.
- Delete Account: Press the "Delete Account" button. Follow the
prompts to confirm your decision.
For Web Users:
- Visit HomeTrail Website: Go to hometrail.net
and log in to your account.
- Go to Profile Page: Click on your profile picture or name to access
the "Profile" page.
- Delete Account: Click the "Delete Account" button. Follow the
prompts to confirm your decision.
Data Deletion and Retention
When you request to delete your account, the following data will be deleted:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, and contact details.
- Educational Data: Curriculum plans, session records, journal
entries, and other educational activity data.
- User-Generated Content: Uploaded files, images, and documents.
Retention Period
All your data will be deleted promptly upon request. While the exact timing may vary, we
aim to process deletion requests as quickly as possible, typically within a few days. No
data will be retained beyond the standard period necessary to complete the deletion
process.

Request Partial Data Deletion
If you wish to request the deletion of specific data without deleting your entire
account, please follow the steps below:
- Send an email to our support team at [email protected]
with the subject line "Partial Data Deletion Request".
- In the email, specify the types of data you wish to have deleted (e.g., journal
entries, specific session records).
- Provide any additional details that may help us identify the data you wish to
delete.
Our support team will process your request and confirm once the data has been
deleted.
