Jefferson Academy is comprised of a K-12 charter school on two campuses; a homeschool enrichment program operating in Westminster, Littleton, and Conifer; and a partnership with Hope House of Colorado, offering GED and high school programs to teen moms in the metro Denver area. Jefferson Academy Elementary School (K-6) Jefferson Academy Elementary School serves grades K-6 in Westminster, CO. The curriculum uses the Core Knowledge Sequence, which is a detailed sequence of specific content taught in language arts, history, geography, mathematics, science, and the fine arts. This curriculum provides a solid, coherent foundation of learning, while allowing flexibility for innovation by JA's educational leadership. Jefferson Academy Secondary School (7-12) Jefferson Academy Secondary School serves Grades 7-12 in Broomfield, CO. It is a school of excellence that works to prepare students for college, develop their character through rigorous expectations, and support them to discover and surpass their potential. As the oldest charter school in Jeffco, we have had years to grow and excel in preparing students for life beyond high school. The Summit Academy The Summit Academy Program serves students in grades K-12 in Westminster, CO. It is part of Jeffco Public Schools, is sponsored by Jefferson Academy Secondary School, and has three locations in metro Denver. Most of our Summit Academy students are homeschooled and attend Summit to supplement their homeschool program.
