The Nature Rocks! Homeschool Program is a dynamic, outdoor educational resource crafted specifically for homeschooled students aged 11 to 18. Situated at the Nature Center, the program offers a series of nature-centric educational experiences that emphasize hands-on learning and exploration. Integrating environmental science with real-world interactions, the program uses forest trails and other natural settings to foster a deep connection with the environment. While physically demanding and not wheelchair accessible, these sessions provide participants with the opportunity to engage deeply with environmental topics through experiential learning. The program does not include access to the Historic Village or Gallery when the museum is closed. Guardians are encouraged to attend with students for a fuller understanding and appreciation of the educational content offered.
