San Diego Junior Theatre

San Diego Junior Theatre provides a dynamic and interactive educational environment focused on theatre arts, tailored specifically for youth. Its homeschool classes invite students (grades 5 and up) to dive into the exciting world of theatre. Participants engage in script-based courses where they enhance their acting skills through collaborative exercises with scene partners. These classes offer a rich experience in performing arts, nurturing creativity, self-expression, and collaboration. In addition to homeschool classes, San Diego Junior Theatre offers year-round programs, camps, and other theatre education initiatives for students aged 4 to 18, focusing on developing comprehensive skill sets related to acting, stagecraft, and production. Established in collaboration with the Old Globe Theatre, its long-standing reputation dates back to over 70 years, making it one of the oldest children's theatre programs in the United States.
