Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers Program

Class
The Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers Program is a nationwide educational initiative designed to empower middle school students, particularly those from under-resourced schools, by building skills in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and entrepreneurship. The program provides engaging, hands-on learning experiences through activities such as design thinking, 3D printing, augmented reality, and mentorship. Its primary focus is on enriching student learning during the summer through a free, three-week enrichment program. Students have the opportunity to work with mentors, fostering enthusiasm and understanding of STEM fields, encouraging continued education, and inspiring careers in technology and entrepreneurship. Additional Information: The program is hosted by educational institutions across the United States, including Central Community College. Students can check the website for participating locations to find opportunities near them.
