North Carolina Botanical Garden (NCBG)

The North Carolina Botanical Garden, located in Chapel Hill, NC, USA, serves as a hub of environmental education, focusing on interactive and immersive nature-based learning experiences. For homeschoolers, NCBG offers guided and self-guided field trips designed specifically for school and homeschool groups, aimed at connecting students with the natural world through tangible experiences. In addition to field trips, the garden hosts a diverse array of youth and family programs, such as nature walks, gardening workshops, hands-on learning experiences, and summer camps. These programs are crafted to encourage exploration, learning, and a deep appreciation for the environment and sustainable practices, both in structured and exploratory settings.
