Our first sister city association with Chino, Japan, began in 1991, followed by Ciudad Guzman, Mexico, in 1998. We recently signed an agreement with our new Sister City, the Northern Arapaho of the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming in September of 2021. Each summer, Longmont hosts a student exchange with our sister cities. Throughout the year, we work in our community to host fundraisers for student travel and participate in activities that promote cultural awareness and understanding.
