Family Interactive Gallery (FIG)

The Family Interactive Gallery (FIG) at the Whatcom Museum is a dynamic, engaging space aimed at fostering creativity and learning through interactive play. This gallery offers children and families an opportunity to delve into the realms of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). Designed to spark curiosity and creativity, the FIG provides a blend of structured activities and free exploration tailored to accommodate various learning styles. Notably, it holds special events like homeschool days where families engaged in home education can experience fun and educational exhibits. With initiatives like 'FIG at Home', the gallery extends its educational reach, making at-home learning interactive and inspiring with a range of science experiments and creative crafts available online.
