Art Castings of Colorado
Art Castings offers guided tours to the public for a small fee. Tours of the foundry are by appointment on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Each tour can accommodate up to eight people. Tours are $5, $4 for seniors, and children under 12 are free. Children under 10 are not allowed unless under direct adult supervision. Art Castings is a working bronze foundry. Conditions may be hot and noisy. For your safety, please wear full shoes or boots–no high heels, sandals or open-toed shoes. Safety glasses will be provided. Pictures are permitted. Tours for school groups high-school age and older are available at no charge. We’re sorry, but we cannot accommodate students younger than high-school age. If your high-school or college art class is interested in learning more about bronze sculpture and casting using the lost-wax process, please call us to make arrangements. Artists are always welcome to visit the foundry during business hours for a free tour and to obtain bids for casting. Normal business hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to noon on Fridays, with standard holiday closures.
