Great Smoky Mountains National Park Education Programs

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park offers a range of educational programs designed to connect students with the natural and cultural resources of the park. These programs include both in-park field trips and virtual learning opportunities catered to homeschooling families, schools, and educational groups. Cades Cove, a part of the park, provides exceptional outdoor educational experiences that highlight the natural environment and historical aspects of the region. The programs support K-12 curricula and include activities that are aligned with scientific and historical standards.
