Fredericksburg SPCA Humane Education Program

The Fredericksburg SPCA offers a Humane Education Program designed to provide educational opportunities for children and young adults in the community. This program emphasizes learning about animal care, welfare, and humane treatment. It offers youth programs that engage students in meaningful activities such as helping with shelter tasks, crafting enrichment toys for animals, and interactive learning sessions about animals and pet care. The program aims to inspire a sense of responsibility and empathy towards animals among young learners, making it a valuable resource for homeschooling parents looking to incorporate animal education into their curriculum. The activities cater to various age groups and learning styles.
