Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub

The Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub is dedicated to advancing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education in Douglas County. They provide support to educators by facilitating STEAM-related activities both inside and outside the classroom, aiming to equip students with skills in areas such as coding, physics, mechanics, and energy. The Hub engages students early in STEAM subjects to prepare them for future careers in these fields. They also receive significant funding to develop infrastructure that supports STEAM education across the county.
