Ponchatoula Area Recreation District (PARD)

The Ponchatoula Area Recreation District (PARD) serves as a cornerstone for community engagement and recreational activities in southern Tangipahoa Parish. The district provides a broad array of programs catering to individuals and families, focusing on fostering community interaction and promoting healthy, active lifestyles. PARD offers structured recreational and cultural activities, which include organized sports leagues, fitness classes, and community events. While primarily recreational, PARD's programs often have an educational component, making them suitable for homeschool families seeking extracurricular and physical education opportunities within a community setting. Their facilities provide a venue for both educational and social development.
