The Central New Mexico STEM Research Challenge is a dynamic regional competition aimed at nurturing the scientific curiosity of elementary, middle, and high school students in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia, and Torrance counties. Part of the University of New Mexico's Health Sciences Center initiatives, the challenge engages students in various scientific disciplines, promoting hands-on exploration, critical analysis, and innovative thinking. Through structured competitions, participants enhance their research capabilities, fostering a deeper interest in STEM fields.
