Bennett Place State Historic Site offers educational programs designed for public, private, and homeschool groups to experience what life was like in Piedmont North Carolina during the Civil War era (1861-1865). With 40 acres of parkland, indoor and outdoor exhibits, historic buildings, nature trails, and special events such as the Civil War School Days, students can engage in hands-on learning and history-packed experiences.
