Ligon Outdoor Center

The Ligon Outdoor Center, operated by the Genesee Intermediate School District, is a vast outdoor education facility located in Genesee County, Michigan. The center covers 268 acres of natural landscape and offers over six miles of hiking trails, providing an immersive learning experience about nature and environmental science. Supported by the Genesee County Educational Foundation, it serves as a critical resource for nature-based education, fostering exploratory learning outside of a traditional classroom setting.
