Urban Roots

Urban Roots offers experiential learning through educational farm tours focused on demonstrating the importance of land stewardship and understanding the local food system in Austin. These tours include on-site activities designed to engage participants in sustainable agricultural practices and healthy food choices. The tours cater to various educational levels, from elementary school to college, and are led by Urban Roots youth alongside staff members. This program aims to inspire and educate participants about the significance of land care and sustainable food production.
