Jeffersonville Makerspace at Jeffersonville Library

The Jeffersonville Makerspace, a facility within the Jeffersonville Library, is designed to spark creativity and innovation through access to state-of-the-art technology and equipment. It is equipped with a variety of tools such as a recording studio, Glowforge laser cutter, 3D printer, large vinyl printer, media conversion tools, and sewing machines. This Makerspace is particularly beneficial for homeschooling families, offering experiential learning opportunities in technology, engineering, art, and design. It includes a dedicated Arts & Crafts station featuring high-tech tools like the Cricut Maker. The space is set up to be user-friendly, with training provided for certain key pieces of equipment to ensure safe usage. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult, and users are required to sign a Makerspace policy for access.
