Hartnell College Planetarium

The Hartnell College Planetarium offers a comprehensive educational experience centered around astronomy and space science. It hosts public shows, special events, and group visits tailored to engage a wide audience, including school groups, which makes it an excellent resource for homeschooling families looking to enhance their science curriculum. The planetarium has been serving the community for over 50 years and since 2014, it has welcomed over 10,000 visitors, primarily from local schools. This indicates a robust program that caters to educational needs and supports science learning outside of the traditional classroom setting.
