About
The Legacy Museum explores the history and legacy of slavery in America with interactive content, historical accounts, and world-class art. It provides visitors with an opportunity to reflect on racial injustices and their effects on society today. The National Memorial for Peace and Justice, located on a six-acre site, is the first comprehensive memorial dedicated to the victims of racial terror lynchings, using art to contextualize their legacy. Both sites are significant educational resources for understanding America's racial history.
