Public History Center

The Public History Center offers a multifaceted educational experience, emphasizing museum education, heritage tourism, and exhibit creation. It serves as an educational hub for UCF students and the broader community including homeschoolers. The center provides learning opportunities in museum and archival collection management, and public programs that foster involvement in historic preservation. It hosts approximately 4,000 Seminole County Public School students annually for visits integrated into the 4th grade curriculum, making it a valuable resource for interactive, place-based history education.
