Transylvania Heritage Museum

The Transylvania Heritage Museum, established in 2007, is dedicated to preserving the local heritage of Transylvania County. Situated in an original 1890s structure in Downtown Brevard, North Carolina, it hosts a rich collection of heirlooms, artifacts, and genealogical exhibits that vividly portray the region's history and culture. A standout feature is the 'Teaching Trunks' program, featuring historic artifacts, instructional materials, and visual aids designed to support educators and homeschooling parents in delivering history lessons. Open from Thursday to Saturday, noon to 4 PM, the museum includes genealogy research facilities and a museum shop.
