Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum

The Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum in Austin, Texas, offers a holistic cultural and educational experience, particularly focusing on art education. The museum provides various programs that cater to both families and students, including free monthly Family Days, Sculpture Garden Storytime, and an engaging Summer Camp. In addition, the "Shaping Space" program exemplifies their community outreach by sending teaching artists to Title 1 elementary schools, helping incorporate creative arts into children's education. Their events such as UMLAUF After Dark and StrawFest are culturally enriching and are supported by awards from prestigious bodies like the National Endowment for the Arts. These activities not only enhance your homeschooling curriculum by adding practical, creative components but also engage children in innovative learning outside the traditional classroom setting.
