Friends of Stone Lakes NWR Environmental Education

The Friends of Stone Lakes NWR Environmental Education program endeavors to inspire learning and engagement with nature. Focused on environmental education, the organization arranges various activities including guided walks along Blue Heron Trails and the innovative Little Green Heron Playscape. By actively participating in events like the Nature Bowl, they enhance the environmental literacy of children and families, instilling an appreciation for local ecosystems and conservation efforts.
