Black Beauty Ranch

Black Beauty Ranch, part of the Humane Society of the United States, spans over 1400 acres and is home to nearly 650 domestic and exotic animals saved from various adverse conditions. While primarily an animal sanctuary, it serves as an educational hub through its environmental and wildlife programs. Homeschool groups and visitors can participate in educational tours to learn about animal welfare, conservation, and ethical treatment, making it an invaluable resource for teaching environmental science, ethics, and animal conservation.
