You can permanently remove an unused student profile from Home. This is available on free and Plus accounts.
Delete a student
- Open Home → Your family rhythm.
- Choose the student you want to remove.
- Choose Delete student at the bottom of the editor.
- Review the warning, then confirm the permanent deletion.
Deleting a student removes their profile, attendance records and criteria, planning notes, and setup details. This cannot be undone.
If Delete student is unavailable
The button appears only when the student has no saved Sessions. HomeTrail checks again when you confirm and also protects other learning records, including books, objectives, projects, masterpieces, portfolios, packs, transcripts, and Learn or Compass progress.
If HomeTrail cannot safely delete the profile, the student and their records stay in place. Contact support if you need help with a student who has saved learning.
