HomeTrail permanently deletes an account only after an explicit deletion request and a 48-hour grace period. If you see an account-deletion warning, the account has not been deleted—you can still cancel the scheduled deletion.
Cancel the scheduled deletion
- Sign in to the HomeTrail website.
- Select the red account-deletion warning, or open the profile menu and select Profile.
- Under Account Deletion Scheduled, select Cancel Deletion.
- Select Yes, Cancel Deletion to confirm.
The warning will disappear, and your account and its data will remain active.
If you cannot cancel it yourself
The Cancel Deletion button is shown to the person who requested the deletion. If you did not request it, the button is missing, or you cannot sign in, use Contact Support before the deletion time shown in the warning.
After the grace period ends and permanent deletion is complete, the account and its deleted data cannot be restored.
If the family account owner requested deletion, any Plus subscription canceled with that request is not automatically restarted when the account deletion is canceled. Check Billing if you want to continue Plus.
