HomeTrail can turn the learning already in your Planner into a clean, color-coded family calendar. Use it for a week on the refrigerator, a longer-range overview, or an agenda for an independent learner.
The calendar can include planned and completed activities, recurring Rhythm items, and generated Nest materials. Each person has a consistent color, while work that is not assigned to a particular student appears under Family.
Open the printable calendar
- Sign in to the HomeTrail website and open Planner.
- Switch to Month.
- Move to the month you want to print.
- Select Print at the top of the Planner.
HomeTrail opens a private printable calendar in a new browser tab using the dates shown in Month view.
Choose what to print
Use Calendar options before printing:
- Adjust Start date and End date if you need a different range. A calendar can cover up to 42 days.
- Choose Week grid for a wall-calendar layout or Agenda for a date-by-date list.
- Under People, select the students and Family items you want to include.
- Turn Show completed items on or off.
- Select Update calendar to apply your choices.
- Select Print calendar, then use your browser's print settings to choose a printer or save a PDF.
The option controls do not appear on the printed page.
What is private
The printable calendar is available only while you are signed in to your HomeTrail family. It does not create a public sharing link. A printed copy or saved PDF can contain activity names, notes, schedules, and student names, so store or share it with the same care as your other homeschool records.
Only students with Nest access enabled receive their own color on this calendar. If a student is missing, review that student's Nest access in Plus Hub → Nest and open the printable calendar again.
