HomeTrail makes it easy to keep track of your student’s homeschooling journey with Progress Reports. These reports provide a clear snapshot of what has been completed and allow you to document learning milestones. You can view, customize, and schedule reports to fit your needs—all from the web version of HomeTrail.

Where to Find Progress Reports

📌 Web Version: Navigate to the Pathfinder section, where you can generate and view Reports for each student.

📌 Customize Your Report: Select the timeframe and activity types you want to include, ensuring the report reflects the progress you want to track.

Setting Up Recurring Reports

You can automate Progress Reports so they are emailed to you on a regular basis:

✅ During Onboarding: When setting up your HomeTrail account, you can choose to receive reports weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

✅ In Trailhead: If you didn’t set it up during onboarding (or want to change your settings), you can go to Trailhead, navigate to Family Settings, and schedule recurring reports.

How Progress Reports Work

When a report is created, it captures a snapshot of your homeschooling data at that moment. If you receive a weekly Progress Report on Sunday night but later realize you forgot to log some sessions, any newly entered data will not automatically appear in the report. You’ll need to rerun the report to include the missing details.
