Exclude a publisher once
Include the publisher or domain in the research request:
Find Avery articles and podcasts about mountain lions, but don't include Example Media.
The exclusion applies to that request without changing the family's saved preferences.
Save an exclusion
Ask TrailGuide to remember the preference:
Don't use Example Media for learning-material research anymore.
TrailGuide asks you to confirm before it saves the change. Reply yes to apply it or no to cancel.
Saved exclusions apply to future TrailGuide searches for articles, videos, and podcasts. TrailGuide compares the preference with source domains, publisher names, and podcast names when those details are available.
Remove or replace exclusions

TrailGuide asks for confirmation before it changes the saved list.
Publisher exclusions work alongside Compass context, the student's grade or stage, and the request you make. They reduce unwanted results but do not guarantee that every remaining external source is accurate or appropriate. Always review the shortlist and preview before approving material for Nest.
