Sharing Portfolios in HomeTrail

Plus families can share a student portfolio through a private link. The recipient does not need a HomeTrail account.

Create a share

1. Open Portfolio and choose the portfolio.
2. Select Share Portfolio.
3. Enter the recipient's name and email address.
4. Create an access password.
5. Add an expiration date when access should be temporary.
6. Create the share and send the URL and password to the recipient separately.

The recipient must use the email address you entered and the correct password.

Manage access

Return to the portfolio's sharing controls to:

• Copy the share URL
• Change the recipient, password, or expiration
• Temporarily deactivate the share
• Permanently delete the share

Shared portfolio pages are excluded from search indexing. Use a strong, unique password, review active shares regularly, and deactivate access when it is no longer needed.
