Generated pack cards are one-time outputs created for a student, such as worksheets, word games, quizzes, articles, or videos. Parents can archive a card to remove it from the student's Nest without deleting its recurring pack setup or learning history.
Mark a Nest card complete for your child
If your child finishes a lesson but forgets to mark its Nest card complete, you can update that individual material on the HomeTrail website.
- Open Day and select the date the material was planned for, or find it in Planner week or month view.
- Find the material's own Mark complete button. Materials can appear as separate dated cards or underneath an activity. You can also open the activity editor and find the button under Lesson materials.
- Select Mark complete. The material shows Completed, and its Nest completion updates immediately. You do not need to save the activity for this action.
To correct a mistake, select Mark incomplete on that material. Saved answers, uploads, and review feedback remain available.
Completion controls are available for ready materials dated today or earlier. A future, archived, or still-generating card cannot be marked complete here. Restore an archived card first.
When a material is attached to an activity, marking it complete does not complete the activity or its other materials. Use the activity's separate completion control when the whole lesson is finished. Parent corrections do not send a child-completion text notification.
Archive a generated pack
- Open Plus Hub, then choose Nest.
- Find the card under What's in Nest. Use All recent if it is not listed under Today.
- Select Archive, then confirm.
The card leaves the active parent queue and the student's Nest. Its saved recurring setup, submitted work, and HomeTrail history remain available.
Restore an archived pack
- Open the Archived view under What's in Nest.
- Find the card and select Restore.
Restoring makes the card available in Nest again. Student Skip is separate from parent cleanup, although skipped cards can also be reviewed from the Archived view.
