Setting Up HomeTrail Plus

The onboarding flow at /onboarding collects the family context needed to prepare useful Compass, TrailGuide, and Nest experiences.

During setup, you can:

1. Complete Who are you teaching?
2. Describe How do you like to homeschool?
3. Add What do you already use day to day?
4. Set your location and school-year details.
5. Choose Explore Plus or Continue free.
6. If exploring Plus, select Annual — $199/yr or Monthly — $19.99/mo and complete Stripe checkout.
7. Choose whether to connect TrailGuide by SMS or WhatsApp.

The Plus trial lasts 10 days, and checkout shows no charge today. You can manage or cancel the subscription from Billing before the trial ends.

You can choose Not now for phone connection and finish TrailGuide setup later from Plus Hub → TrailGuide.

The setup examples use representative data; they do not publish your family information. After setup, open each Plus tab to review Compass learning maps, Nest access, and TrailGuide messaging preferences.
