Plus

HomeTrail Plus lets you record grades on completed sessions and build transcripts from course records you enter.

Set up grading

  1. Open Plus Hub.
  2. Choose Overview, then open Grading Module.
  3. Turn on Enable Grading.
  4. Use the default grade thresholds or create your own score ranges, letter labels, colors, and quality points.

Quality points can be set separately for standard, honors, AP, and dual-enrollment courses. HomeTrail uses the saved thresholds when calculating transcript GPA.

Record a grade

  1. Open a completed session from the Planner.
  2. Enter the student’s score.
  3. Save the session.

HomeTrail maps the score to the grade threshold you configured. Graded sessions can appear in grade reports. Add and review transcript course records separately.

Create a transcript

  1. Open Pathfinder, then choose Reports.
  2. Select the Transcripts tab.
  3. Choose Create Transcript and select the student.
  4. Add or review the school information, academic years, courses, credits, scores, weighting, and certification details.
  5. Save the transcript.
  6. Select Download PDF when you are ready to keep or share a copy.

HomeTrail calculates yearly and cumulative GPA from the saved course data and your current grade thresholds. Courses can be excluded from GPA or marked pass/fail when appropriate.

Review before sharing

The parent controls the grades, course descriptions, credits, school details, and certification information included in a transcript. Review the downloaded PDF for accuracy and check the requirements that apply to your family, school, program, or state before treating it as a final record.
