Generating Packs for Students

Packs are student-facing learning cards that HomeTrail can generate for Nest. They can be one-time cards created on demand or recurring cards connected to a student's pack setup.

Depending on the pack type, generated cards may include:

• Cursive practice
• Word searches or crosswords
• Quizzes
• YouTube video cards
• News or article cards
• Fun facts, word of the day, or other learning prompts

One-Time Generated Packs

TrailGuide can create a one-time generated pack when you name the student and the pack you want.

Examples:

• "Generate cursive practice for Kate today"
• "Make Charlie a word search about rainforest animals"
• "Send Grace this article as a Newsworthy pack"

Updating Generated Packs

TrailGuide can often rename or regenerate a recent generated pack card. For example, you can ask it to rename a card, regenerate it with simpler instructions, or try again with a different topic.

TrailGuide cannot delete or archive generated pack cards by text message. If a card needs to be removed from Nest, email [email protected].
