Managing Generated Pack Cards in Nest

Generated pack cards are the one-time outputs TrailGuide or HomeTrail creates for a student in Nest, such as cursive practice, word searches, quizzes, articles, or videos.

TrailGuide can help you create, rename, review, and regenerate pack cards, but it cannot currently delete or archive generated pack cards by text message. Student skip is also different: skip is for a student marking a card as skipped in Nest, not for a parent cleaning up generated cards.

If You Only Want One Student To Keep A Card

If TrailGuide created cards for multiple students and you only want one of them to keep the card, contact HomeTrail support with:

1. The date the cards were generated
2. The pack type or card title
3. The student who should keep the card
4. The students whose cards should be removed

For example: "Please keep Kate's cursive practice card from today and remove the generated cards for Charlie, Caroline, and Grace."

What TrailGuide Can Still Do

TrailGuide can help with related pack-card updates:

• Rename a generated pack card
• Regenerate a card with different instructions
• Create a new card for the right student
• Check which generated pack cards exist for a date
