How to Add a Custom Curriculum in HomeTrail

HomeTrail makes it easy to track and manage your homeschooling with the Custom Curriculum feature. Whether you’re using a structured program, mixing and matching resources, or creating your own lessons, you can add your curriculum and track it seamlessly. Plus, with the Discover section, you can explore new curriculum options shared by other homeschoolers!

Discovering Curriculum in HomeTrail

📌 Browse the Discover Section – Looking for curriculum ideas? The Discover section in HomeTrail provides a growing collection of homeschool resources. You can explore curriculum recommendations, find local learning opportunities, and see what other homeschoolers are using.

📌 Submit Your Favorite Curriculum – Have a curriculum you love? You can contribute by submitting resources to help build a community-driven hub of homeschooling materials.

How to Add a Custom Curriculum

📌 On the Web Version:

1. Go to Pathfinder in HomeTrail.

2. Select Custom Curriculum.

3. From here, you can Discover Resources or add your own Activities.

4. Then enter the curriculum details (title, description, subjects, etc.).

5. Click Save, and it will now be available for tracking.

📌 In the App:

1. Scroll to the Custom Curriculum module at the bottom of the day page.

2. Under Add New, click on My Activities or External Resources.

3. Find something to add and fill in the curriculum details.

4. Tap Save, and the new curriculum will be ready to track.

Tracking and Managing Custom Curriculum

Once added, you can schedule Custom Curriculum items in your Planner and check them off as they’re completed.

🔹 Editing Curriculum: Make updates anytime by selecting the curriculum item and modifying the details.
🔹 Deleting or Archiving: Edit the Curriculum to find the option to delete.
