At this time, HomeTrail does not support recurring activities in the traditional sense. Instead of setting a lesson to repeat automatically each week, we offer the ability to copy full weeks.
At HomeTrail, we believe flexibility is key to successful homeschooling. ThatâÂÂs why our platform is built around weekly planning, rather than rigid, long-term schedules. While we donâÂÂt currently support recurring activities in the traditional sense, weâÂÂve built an intuitive feature to make your week-to-week planning fast and seamless using the âÂÂCopy Weekâ button.
Every homeschooling family is different. Children progress at their own pace, and unexpected life events can shift your plans. HomeTrail encourages taking things one week at a time, allowing you to reflect, adjust, and stay responsive to your childâÂÂs learning needs.
Instead of setting up recurring activities that may not always align with your real-life week, HomeTrailâÂÂs Copy Week feature gives you control and speed. With just one click, you can duplicate an entire weekâÂÂs worth of planned activities into a new week, then make any edits needed.
Go to the Planner in the web version of HomeTrail
Navigate to the week you want to copy
Click the âÂÂCopy Weekâ button at the top
Choose the target week you want to copy the activities to
Review and adjust as needed
Want to reuse a well-balanced weekly schedule? Copy it forward!
Have recurring subjects like math or language arts each day? Copy your base week and tweak the details.
Taking a break but want to keep the same rhythm when you return? Just duplicate the last full week.
This feature provides the efficiency of recurrence without locking you into a rigid pattern. ItâÂÂs perfect for homeschooling parents who want structure, but also flexibility.
WeâÂÂre always looking to improve, so if recurring activities are important to your homeschool flow, let us know! For now, give the Copy Week tool a try and see how it can simplify your weekly planning.
