Getting Started with TrailGuide

TrailGuide is HomeTrail's SMS and WhatsApp assistant for Plus families.

Connect TrailGuide

1. Open Plus Hub → TrailGuide.
2. Choose Connect TrailGuide.
3. Follow the activation steps for SMS or WhatsApp.
4. Complete the consent prompts before sending family learning details or student work.

TrailGuide can help you:

• Log and plan learning sessions
• Mark attendance and check progress
• Add, edit, assign, or reschedule custom curriculum
• Create or update journal entries
• Generate, rename, or regenerate student packs
• Send Trail Mail
• Find educational articles and videos
• Search HomeTrail help articles
• Summarize your subscription and provide secure links for billing, invoices, cancellation, payment methods, plan changes, or upgrades

Try prompts such as:

• “Log 30 minutes of math for Avery today.”
• “Move the missed Riverbend Math lesson to Monday and reflow the rest.”
• “Make Jordan a word search about rainforest animals.”
• “How do I set up progress reports?”

The TrailGuide tab also shows What TrailGuide Knows, editable Profile Notes, connection status, and Turn off TrailGuide.

TrailGuide uses only the family-scoped HomeTrail context needed for the request. Privacy-safe student aliases are used in AI-facing text where practical. Unsupported account or support actions are redirected to the appropriate HomeTrail screen or support.
