Homeschool unit studies that start with a real question

Use one of our complete five-day studies today. When your child takes the topic somewhere unexpected, HomeTrail Plus can build a new unit around their age, interests, your available time, and the supplies already at home.

The public studies below are free and usable without an account. Generated studies are a HomeTrail Plus feature and should be reviewed by a parent before use.

A unit study can connect.

Question
What makes a volcano erupt?
Observe
Model, measure, map, and compare
Make
A lab record, field guide, or explanation
Adapt
One shared topic with work that fits each learner
Record
Keep the finished work beside the family plan

The short answer.

What is a homeschool unit study?

A unit study follows one topic through several subjects. A volcano study might combine Earth science, mapping, measurement, writing, and art. Everyone can share the topic while the reading, writing, and independence change for each child.

You do not need to squeeze in every subject each day. Choose a clear question, plan a short sequence, and end with something that shows what the learner understood.
