Choosing a Grade Level in HomeTrail

Getting Started with HomeTrail

HomeTrail allows you to start at any grade level , giving you complete flexibility in tracking your child's education. This is especially useful for families with unique learning needs, including those who may need to begin at a different level than their child's traditional grade placement. How Grade Levels Work in HomeTrail The selected grade is used for tracking and reporting purposes. All activities, sessions, and attendance are assigned to the chosen grade. When a student advances grades, new entries will be automatically assigned to the updated grade level. Flexibility for Every Learning Path Whether a student is working at grade level, ahead, or needs to start from an earlier grade , HomeTrail allows parents to track progress in a way that fits their child's individual journey. This ensures that all learning records reflect the most appropriate level for the student , rather than being tied to a specific age-based grade. Upcoming Enhancements With the upcoming Reporting Engine , families will have an even clearer view of progress over time, making it easier to track learning milestones at any grade level. HomeTrail is designed to support customized learning paths , ensuring that homeschool families can document education in a way that best meets their needs.
